WOW...

I have a tomato...I can't believe it. I am adding a picture just to prove it. I had mama bring me some cuttings from GG's tomato plants on her return from Alabama and I have a new baby tomato. For all of you who do not know...I must explain so you can truly appreciate my giddiness over a baby tomato. I am the worst with plants. I love them and try really hard to not kill them, yet somehow they all die. It is very bad. So, I am rejoicing for the moment in my tomato cause it means I have done something right so far with the clippings!

It is amazing, I give it a week and they will be dead! Actually, she is trying much harder then ever before to keep everything alive. She even went to Home Depot herself to get gardening tools and soil!

We have a tomato plant on our deck. Well, there were 5 tomatoes coming, nice and green, and Kate managed to pick them all off, without us seeing. She gave them to Scott, saying, "Apples, Daddy, apples!"

Finally opening this @ home so that I can post a comment. The IT Nazis @ AJG block out all blogs (I sneak mine in but can't send comments). I think this one little tomato is a real accomplishment considering the cutting went thro' extreme trauma traveling down from Alabama. It had to travel in wet paper towels in a cooler in the back of a car for 11 hours. Way to go Ash

Any chance you will spare a small clipping for your favorite sister so that she, too, might rejoice in tomatoes??
